What you need to know

I will listen to the entire episode as I edit. I will remove filler words, interruptions, restarts and glitches. I'm very flexible, if I notice an area that needs to be "healed" I will do my best to fix it. If a fix is not possible I will notify you.

I remove over 80% of filler words. It's sometimes necessary to keep a few to allow the speech to flow naturally. Some are kept because they cannot be isolated from the following word, removing this type of filler word will cause a larger distraction. The key to my style of editing is ensuring the listener has a smooth experience. I remove as many points of exit as possible. (sneezes, glitches, unnatural pauses and filler words)

Yes! I do not charge extra for setting up a podcast. I have a subscription to a music service that you can access. You need to supply and choose the content but I will edit everything for you.

Yes, I edit them very differently. For most podcasts I edit, the audio version will have a cut every 3 to 7 seconds. This is very well hidden because it's easy for me to blend and mask when you can't see the cuts.

If the video version was edited using the same style, it would be very distracting for the viewer. This is why I mark mistakes noticed during the audio edit to then edit out of the video version.

The edits made to the video version will be focused on major issues like glitches, pauses, restarts and distractions.

All of my captions for video episodes are automatically generated, this means that there will sometimes be mistakes. I go through the entire video correcting personal and business names, unfortunately I cannot catch all errors using this service. I can make specific revisions to important areas but for most cases the automatic errors will need to be left.

I can offer a white glove transcription service if it's important but it can add a surprising about to the monthly retainer. Most people are very happy with the auto-generated captions, they're getting better all the time. 

100%! I have a default frame that I use but if you have an idea for your own design I would love to get creative. If you can describe what you want, you have a template in mind or you have an example online, I can create it for you. I only need brand colours and a logo.

Yes. If we also use the audio editing service I can use the existing components to create it. I'll use your branding to create a stylish intro. If you have a custom request and can supply the content needed, I am happy to create a custom version.

As I edit the audio version, I place several markers at the areas of greatest value. Once I've finished the main edit, I go back and select the best marker, the clip is roughly 30 seconds long. I then export this selection as either a new audio or video file to be repurposed into a social media video.

I'm happy to go back and select a different version once. My judgement will need to trusted after the second version. This selection can be subjective, it's meant to be the moment of greatest value to encourage someone to open the full episode.

Unless requested I will always feature the guest in my highlights. It's understandable that you would want to be promoted since you're investing a lot of time and money. Most people find value from the podcast by inviting people they admire and people they want to develop relationships with. You can then increase authority by association.

Yes, I will upload a Google Doc to the completed episode folder in our shared Google Drive. You can then open this file to make edits and comments. It's important to notify me by email after edits are made if you want me to take action on them.

Yes, you will have full access to the project.

I have a social media scheduling software. I will add you as a manager, you will then login to all of the accounts that you want the posts to reach. I cannot do this myself because some of them require two factor authentication.

I schedule audio episodes through Captivate. You first need to subscribe to their service, create a podcast and then add fynngentle@gmail.com as a manager under the teams tab. I will then have the ability to upload and schedule.
